(Executive Director)
Patience Afun serves as the Executive Director of the Shufau Foundation, where her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to family values shine through. With a passion for empowering communities and a commitment to making a positive impact, Pat leads the foundation with passion and integrity. Her ability to balance professional ambition with nurturing family connections exemplifies her holistic approach to leadership. Under her guidance, the Shufau Foundation continues to thrive and inspire others to contribute to meaningful change.
Paulina Iyere
(Coordinator)
Paulina Iyere is a devoted mother of three and grandmother of three, deeply rooted in the
Columbus, Ohio community. With a lifelong passion for nurturing and caring for children,
she is the owner and operator of an in-home daycare where she provides a safe, loving,
and structured environment for young children to learn and grow.
Through years of hands-on experience in childcare, Paulina has developed a strong
understanding of children’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs. Her work is
guided by compassion, patience, and a deep commitment to family and community.
Inspired by her faith and her desire to serve vulnerable children, Paulina is the obvious choice
to further our foundation's orphanage program.
